Newborn Sleep Shaping

Suitable for prenatal preparations - 4 months

This package is suitable for expectant mums wanting to prepare, up to when baby is 4 months of age. It offers families early support and guidance on setting baby up with good sleep habits so that they can sleep well from day one!

Looking for some more hands on support at your home or live via zoom during bedtime? A 2 hour home visit can really help model the implementation of your plan and give you confidence to continue.

Returner Troubleshooting

This is suitable for previous clients who would like a little more support. Maybe your little one has experienced a sleep regression after illness, or you would like help transitioning your toddler into a cot? Whatever it is that you need support with, you can book in a troubleshooting call.

These are 40 minute consultation calls with emailed recommendations.

  • What does a sleep coach do?
    A good sleep coach takes the time to get to know you, your family and your child. They will find out about your child’s sleep history as well as their feeding journey so that they can make a plan with you which will be not only suitable for your little one but also fit into your families life. Plans and strategies will be introduced and changes may be made along the way in response to your needs, in order to achieve your sleep goals and get your family more rest.
  • Where are you based and can you help me in my home?
    I am based in South Oxfordshire and am well located to visit homes around Oxford, Reading, Henley and Newbury. I am always happy to discuss your family needs, wherever you are, and visit families further afield upon request. I work with numerous clients remotely and I have worked with families as far away as Kenya and New Zealand.
  • Do you help families with multiple births?
    Yes, absolutely. Each child has their own sleep needs and is treated as an individual, and therefore will require their own consultation. Ask me about a discount for an additional sibling.
  • What methods do you use and will my baby cry?
    I use a variety of sleep coaching methods depending on your family preferences. I do not ever suggest leaving your baby alone to cry themself to sleep. Any change in routine or response from a parent may elicit some level of crying because it is a baby’s way of communicating, but it is how you respond to them which is important. During our consultation we will discuss your parenting style and your little one’s temperament to decide upon a sleep coaching method that you are comfortable with.
  • How long will it take?
    Sleep coaching can be as quick as a couple of nights to get your little one sleeping 12 hours. However, all children are different and depending on their sleep challenges and our agreed sleep coaching method, it can take anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks or potentially more if you want to take things slowly. We can discuss different methods and time frames during our consultation.
  • Will you guarantee results?
    While I don’t offer any guarantees, I strongly believe that all children have the ability to sleep well. If your little one is not sleeping well currently, then there is a reason which we need to discuss and implement a plan to address. If your little one is physically well and comfortable, then sleep coaching methods used consistently will help them learn to fall asleep independently and sleep well.
  • What if our family is ill during the sleep coaching?
    If your little one or your family are ill or going through a period of teething etc, then we will pause our sleep package and recommence it when you are all well again.
